RACE TO THE WHITE HOUSE: WHY DONALD TRUMP MUST BE DUMPED

alltimepost.com

Donald Trump reminds me of the fascists in Hitler’s Germany that almost crumbled the pillars of political tolerance, democratic order and societal sanity into the dustbin of barbarism. Regardless of Trump’s posturing, the choice is certainly Americans’ to make. It is a choice between bringing America back to the Dark Age in the 21st century which the Trump campaign seems to epitomize, and ensuring an era of enduring inclusiveness, racial and religious tolerance, prosperity and bridging the gap between the rich and the poor which form the hallmark of the Clinton campaign.

It is very clear now that the race to the United States of America’s seat of power, otherwise known as the White House is between the nation’s former first lady and Secretary of State, Mrs. Hilary Clinton and billionaire, Mr. Donald Trump.

Both candidates – Clinton and Trump are flying the flags of the two dominant political parties in the States, the Democratic Party and the Republican Party respectively.

Hillary Clinton, wife of former President Bill Clinton is equally the first woman in American history to be a presidential candidate of a major political party.

She has demonstrated in her widely publicized views that if voted into the White House, the dignity, freedom, diversity and religious sanctity of the people of America would be preserved.

Hillary’s extensive experience, as a former Senator in the United States, along with other rich attributes acquired as a serial public servant will no doubt be a great president like her husband, Bill.

It would be recalled that Hillary Clinton gave President Barrack Obama a titanic challenge during the battle to obtain the nod of the democrats at the party’s primaries in 2008.
Mrs. Clinton, no doubts, is an extraordinary personality that will give the Americans extraordinary leadership in these times of extreme political, social, religious and economic turmoil confronting the global village.

Certainly, the world does not need an American president that will make nonsense of or betray the gigantic efforts of legendary ex-presidents, like Franklin Delano Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy ,Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton, etc. towards global peace and stability.
Donald Trump, to me, is a minus for global religious and racial harmony; he is a definite spoiler that will drag United States back to the 1950s, cause unnecessary tension, fear, acrimony and hate if he is elected as president.

From his unguarded utterances and articulated postulations ever since he broke his way into reckoning via his presidential aspirations till recently when he became the official candidate of the Republican party, Donald Trump has established himself as a racial and religious bigot and one that is being seen in several quarters as an unstable personality, whose action might undermine global peace and security.

The way things are going, I have no doubt that Donald Trump would be rejected at the poll by those Americans who really love their country and want it to continue to play its enviable leadership role as the most powerful nation on earth, thereby sustaining the enviable principles of the founding fathers.
