Besides appealing for violence and rancour-free election, he tasked the Police Chief to provide a level playing field for all political parties in the State so as to promote peace and tranquillity.

Crown Prince Erediauwa said, given the rumour making the rounds, suggestive of political violence or mayhem during the state governorship elections, Mr. Adeyinka Shodipo and his men should as a matter of necessity put plan into action to prevent such occurrence.

On his part, the Crown Prince, however assured the Nigeria police Zone 5 boss that the Palace was not folding its arms on the matter.

He hinted that such steps, as fervent prayers to the ancestors have been undertaken so as to let there be peace and tranquillity before, during and after the governorship election in the state.

He expressed pleasure over Mr. Shodipo’s agreement with the Palace on the need to provide a level playing field for all the governorship candidates in the upcoming election.

Earlier in his speech, the zone 5 Police AIG Zone said he came to ask for the Palace’s blessings and cooperation to succeed in the state.
